The M. R. Conic Foundation, Incorporated (MRCF)
MRCF was established to build Senior Citizen Housing, and to provide related services for Seniors in the City of Jackson, Mississippi. The Project, “A New Beginning” An Independent Living Village, will provide housing within a safe secure environment, and is planned for the Cynthia Area of Jackson, near highway 49 North and Shell Rock Road at Country Club Drive.
Ultimately the goal is to build in several cities around the country.
The current project plan calls for 80 units of Senior Housing. The first phase of the housing will be one bedroom apartments. It allows for a friendly and supportive type of environment that facilitates Seniors coming together for congregate meals, and activities in a warm and welcoming setting. While the Seniors would each have a separate apartment, which they are allowed to furnish and decorate, they would be encouraged to interact with other residents, helping to create an environment which is one in which Seniors are able to grow, flourish and enjoy their golden years being safe and protected each day. Seniors will be empowered to continue or maybe to begin the active, interesting and fulfilled life that they desire.
